Hello March Broccoli Quinoa Flat Noodles – Vegan, 250g

I'll be honest — I've tried a lot of vegetable noodles that tasted like sad, wet cardboard. These Broccoli Quinoa Noodles weren't that.

You can smell the broccoli as soon as the water begins to boil; it's not simply the green colour of the noodles.  The strands are flat, a little wider than your usual spaghetti, so they grab onto sauce instead of letting it slide right off. I tossed mine in a simple garlic-chilli oil with a fried egg on top, and the texture held up — firm, slightly chewy, nothing mushy or falling apart in the pot.

It makes sense that this one won awards for Best Aroma and Best Innovation. It doesn't taste like a health food noodle apologising for itself — it just tastes like a good noodle that happens to be made from broccoli and quinoa instead of refined flour.

One 250g pack is enough for a solid solo meal, or split it for a lighter dinner for two. Stir-fried, dropped into a warm broth, or just sauced up simply on its own — it holds its ground either way.

If you're vegan, cutting back on refined carbs, or just tired of noodles that taste like punishment, this one's worth the shelf space.
